My name is Ed Fenton. I am a retired technology executive with over 40 years of experience in the technology field. I was born and raised in Connecticut, where I attended St. Josephs High School in Trumbull Connecticut. Upon graduated I enlisted in the US Navy and served proudly for 6 years . I was honorably discharged. During the US Navy I married in 1973 and had four children. My wife and I are blessed with these 4 children and 9 grandchildren, and in 2023 will celebrate 50 years of marriage.

 

After the US Navy I enrolled at Southern Connecticut University and received a BS degree in Economics and Computer Science in 1980. I also continued my education completing a portion of my MBA in Information Sciences. I began my career in manufacturing and began utilizing my skills with computers in the workplace. My career spans 40 years with positions from programmer, project manager, portfolio manager, Director of Information Technology, finally as Chief Information Officer (CIO) for a Xerox Company. During this period, I also started a Computer Systems Integration business, and Computer Rental and Leasing Company. I  sold these businesses in 1996.

 

When I retired from Xerox, I had a goal to go back to school and learn some of the newer technologies. I enrolled at the U of L Speed School and have taken a few classes. I find the mobile world fascinating and would like to better understand how applications for these devices are created.

 

With my background and skills, I am well versed in most of today’s computer and audio-visual issues. I find it rewarding to be able to help someone through, what could be very frustrating issues. Please give me a call and let’s discuss what your issue may be and what I can do to help solve these.
